The problem

The client had built up a solid library of original images over time.

But like most people, they had no real visibility on:

What we did

Instead of manually searching around Google, we ran their images through our system.

We basically:

• Took their original images as a reference
• Ran targeted Google searches
• Pulled back image results
• Compared those results against the originals

Nothing complicated from their side, we handled the whole thing.

What we found

Within a few minutes we started to see:

• Images appearing on websites the client had nothing to do with
• Duplicate content across different platforms
• Profiles using the same or very similar images
• Older images still floating around online

Some of it was harmless, but some of it wasnt ideal.

The main thing was they finally had a clear view of what was going on.

No guessing anymore.

The outcome

Once they had the data, everything became a lot easier.

They were able to:

• See exactly where their images were being used
• Spot anything that didnt look right
• Take action where needed
• Keep a better eye on things going forward

It just gave them a bit more control back.

Why this matters
